TikTokTikTok In-Feed safe zone template, measured by upload-post (Sep 2026). The button column width differs between sources (180–300 px); we use the wider one.
Instagram & FacebookMeta ads guide: 14% top, 35% bottom, 6% sides, one zone for Reels and Stories since March 2026 (Billo, Socialync)
YouTube ShortsGoogle Ads vertical video safe zone (Socialync). Shorts added an optional Clear Screen mode in June 2026, but most viewers still see the buttons.

Questions

What is a safe zone?

The part of a vertical video that the app’s buttons, captions and progress bar don’t cover. Text, logos and faces outside it get hidden behind the like button or the caption on some phones.

Which safe zone should I use if I post everywhere?

Use the combined zone: it is the area that stays clear on TikTok, Instagram and Facebook Reels and YouTube Shorts at the same time. At 1080x1920 that is 288 px from the top, 672 px from the bottom, 120 px from the left and 192 px from the right, minus the TikTok button column on the right.

How do I use the overlays in DaVinci Resolve or Premiere?

Put the PNG on the top track over your timeline while you place titles and logos, and turn the track off before you render. The pack has HD (1080x1920) and 4K (2160x3840) versions.

Are these the official numbers?

The platforms publish safe zones for ads, and organic posts use the same interface. TikTok’s values come from its In-Feed safe zone template, Meta’s from its ads guide (14% top, 35% bottom, 6% sides, one zone for Reels and Stories since March 2026) and YouTube’s from the Google Ads vertical video guide. Is my video uploaded?

No. The frame is drawn in your browser and never leaves your device.
